@truecrimegarage She admitted she did it. I find it way more likely that one person is holiding out in thinking she wasn’t responsible than 11 people believing she was out of her mind during the murders. But maybe I have too much faith in humanity
@truecrimegarage Everyone assumes since it regarded doubt that means the 11 are for NGRI but when the judge regave his instructions on RD he specified that RD did not mean possibility of doubt which makes me think the hold out juror is grasping to a possibility she was NGRI
@MichAfterDark As in “it’s a possibility Patrick is a ninja that can travel at light speed and telecommunicate his demands onto other people”. Or “it’s possible that Lindsay is the only person ever in the history of all time to hear voices for only 18 minutes of her life”
@MichAfterDark The judge specified when he reread the instruction that reasonable doubt does not mean the possibility of a doubt. That to me says there is someone set on possibility of a doubt and not reasonable
@truecrimegarage My mom would listen to the Casey Anthony trial and so if we had to drive somewhere that’s what we were listening to. I was a teenager at the time and I thought it was weird that people would listen to a trial but then I kind of got hooked to it also
@Lisaelizabeth I agree they didn’t start off strong but their rebuttal witnesses and closing arguments solidified it for me. And I actually went into this thinking she was not mentally competent and overly medicated. I came out of it thinking murder.
@truecrimegarage I went in thinking she had a psychotic episode and was over medicated and came out of it thinking she is guilty and knew what she was doing. I do believe she had mental health issues but I think she still knew right from wrong and that it was indeed a failed murder suicide.
@deblanc_jenna She did not spend 5 minutes on Zoloft specifically. She was pointing out that LC didn’t take hardly any of the pills she was prescribed which is important because the defense is claiming she was over medicated. Of course the prosecution has to spend time on that.
@ThatJurorLawyer She didn’t say LC should have just shot herself or any other means. She was pointing out that if LC was hearing a voice telling her to kill the kids and she strangled them why not then also strangle herself if she really was obeying a voice. Thats why she said that.
@ThatJurorLawyer Delivered to her children. Tiny humans. Babies. We can all feel sympathy for someone going through mental health issues but we shouldn’t have to walk on egg shells talking about the facts and I for one was impressed with the prosecutor for talking about the hard parts
@tadasana277@jackunheard I don’t even wear makeup but she’s actually quite fun to watch. She was working on her own beauty product line and makeup IS her whole profession. She also gives tutorials on very basic makeup looks and even on cheaper products that ANYONE can buy in a drug store
@goodreads Why does women’s history month challenge always have to be nonfiction. Can’t we have a category celebrating female authors who write fiction?
If you claim to support human rights yet can’t bring yourself to show solidarity with those fighting for their liberty in Iran, you’ve revealed yourself. You don’t give a damn about people being oppressed and brutalised so long as it’s being done by the enemies of your enemies.
@justcastellon Kindles hold their charge for an insanely long time. Even longer if you read on airplane mode once the book is downloaded. I literally read everyday and charge my kindle MAYBE once a month
