#GNED1411 14.1 Lastly, I believe that social media will take over our lives more than it already has, from the use of phones to the classroom. Specifically, VR could become a true learning experience in labs. What is real could be seen on the spot without moving far (testing)

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

#GNED1411 14.3(3) Another useful thing I have learned from this course is that social media can be very effective in growing a company. I have a brand that I will be expanding and potentially sharing into the sporting world. All I have to say for now is that it is about golf :)

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

#GNED1411 14.1 I also believe VR (Virtual Reality) will become more popular. Video and gameplay will be shared for others to see in a whole new, exciting way!

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

@Emil_C22 I greatly benefitted from this learned as well! Especially about privacy and building a webpage.

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

@Harry_GNED_DC Great points! If we care enough about our future, we will focus on what we share online and hopefully limit it to what is important versus not.

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

@JessicaGalbra19 Yes, I have also learned a lot about this. Making a page about it also helped in seeing how businesses have to work hard just to make it look interesting enough to get someone to read.

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

#GNED1411 14.3(3) I will take what I have learned about privacy on social media and apply it more than I already have. This began with clearing unnecessary posts, only following people I know, and keeping accounts private. This applies to my life because family and employers see

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

#GNED1411 14.3(2) Three things I have learned from this course include how important privacy settings are, how the government uses social media in campaigning, and how effective activism movements are in creating new opportunities through education and the business world.

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

@relakshika I agree! it has already evolved and will definitely continue as people want to stay in close contact, especially family.

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

#GNED1411 14.3(1) The most useful thing I have learned from this course is about privacy settings and how our posts can be monitored almost no matter what. This had made me far more conscious about what I post, especially in regards to what employers can see.

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

@Jessiearsenaul2 I agree! And as long as students take advantage of these opportunities, versus destroy them with inappropriate posts, it will flourish.

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

#GNED1411 14.2 Social media technologies that could emerge include 3-Dimensional or holographic video posts. This would lead to a more interactive and realistic experience. It will cost more, however, there will be a more personal, story-driven experience that consumers want

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

#GNED1411 14.1 Social media will change in the future through more mobile-accessible applications. These will also focus more on video versus just text and photos. We already saw this change in Instagram, plus Facebook and Twitter started through websites..now look where we are.

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

A true inspiration, from most perspectives. Now we wait and see if he's got a few more in him to truly become the greatest the game has ever seen.

[PGA Tour @PGATour]

Respect all around.

[Durham Regional Police @DRPS]

Jr Officer Rowan dropped by to visit at the Public Safety Unit truck and dropped off an amazing gift

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

@relakshika For sure! It also brings a competitive edge to learning, making students listen and pay closer attention to detail.

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

@jep021 Absolutely! One of the greatest apps that all groups should use when working on a project.

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

Incredible performance by the G.O.A.T. The comeback is real ladies and gentlemen.

[PGA Tour @PGATour]

"That will be the greatest scene in golf. Forever."

"If that doesn't bring a tear to your eye, if you're a parent, you're not human."

[Lucas Pichl @pichl13]

@shelby144277285 I strongly agree. Even if the posts are on topic, students may get attached to the screen versus face-to-face interaction and listening.
