@lippyent Lucky to live in a neighborhood where the kids, even today are doing this. I have a big old train bell that I ring when it’s time to come home from wherever. My kids literally grew up very similarly to me in the 60’s and 70’s. Didn’t think it was possible. So lucky for them.

@blue_mataca @NoContextHumans I believe the open window rule for take off and landing is for if there’s an emergency and even the slightest possibility of emergency crews outside the plane to see in. Probably an over abundance of caution but same goes for seatbelts staying on until door opens.
