@vicebusting@chalktoast@SenThomTillis@grok Like I said. Lost the popular vote.
Just like Trump is saying he won 2020, because he won the popular vote and it was stolen from him. Same reasoning here.
Not hard to understand.
Hey @Grok, purely hypothetical, what is the *statistical probability* that 52,000 NEW voters suddenly appear in a primary and vote OVER 90% AGAINST the incumbent? One sentence max.
One thing the separatists don’t get…the resources are actually federal. Alberta, as a province, has a memorandum of understanding in place with the Feds, that they can use the resources to make a profit, however they need to support the rest of Canada as well.
Separate, you lose the oil sands.
@iamcardib you think Vancovuer is beautiful now…which it is…but come here in the summer. You may never leave.
Not sure you have time, but take a drive up to Whistler. Absolutely stunning. The drive is amazing too.
Pretty pathetic when it’s almost nothing but commercials on the Olympics coverage. @CBC. As scores are coming up, cut to commercial. As an athlete warms up, cut to commercial.
Absolutely terrible.
This has been by far, the worst #Olympics2026 coverage I can recall.
@CBC really...you need to cut to commercial during the #olympic opening ceremonies? Absolutely terrible.
Guess you need to avoid looking totally inept by not making ANY money...but you actually made yourself look worse.
The Million Dollar 1 Point Slam has to be tennis’ best invention in a really long time.
This is how it works:
• Each match consists of a single point. The winner advances to the next round.
• Service: The choice of who serves is decided by "Rock, Paper, Scissors" at the net.
• To balance the competition, professional players are restricted to a single serve. Amateurs are granted a second serve if they fault the first.
• 48-player knockout draw featuring a mix of ATP/WTA pros, local amateur qualifiers, and wildcard celebrities:
- ATP/WTA pros: Alcaraz, Sinner (just lost to an amateur), and Swiatek (who beat Cobolli) are among the participants. Also, Anisimova just beat Medvedev.
- Amateurs: 16 spots are reserved for everyday players who won local "Road to the 1 Point Slam" qualifying events across Australia.
- Celebrities: Wildcards are given to high-profile names from music and other sports. This year features stars like Mandopop king Jay Chou, comedian Andy Lee, and AFL star Bailey Smith.
• The tournament operates as a high-stakes exhibition prior to the Australian Open, with a winner-take-all prize of $1,000,000 AUD (around $670,000 USD). Additionally, the amateur who progresses the furthest wins a Kia EV3, and the winner’s local tennis club receives a $50,000 community grant.
