@Lukealexxander Sonny fodera, gorgon city, autograf, NAATIONS are a good place to start for what I think you’re looking for.
@thedulab anymore artist suggestions?
You don't know what you have until it's gone. I remember a couple years ago around this time, I was living with one of my best friends. Many nights after we'd finish work, we'd put the NBA playoffs on in the background and just hang out.
We weren't always present though. We'd be laying on the couch, scrolling through social media, and glancing up at the game in between conversation. It was nothing out of the ordinary. Fairly boring.
Then I moved out after our lease ended and went back to So Cal for a while, never having thought too much about that period of my life. But every year when the playoffs come back, I'm always reminded of that era.
I look back with nostalgia. It makes me realize how special those times were, even if they seemed uneventful on the surface. It makes me wish I was more present, and truly embracing of every moment, despite the moments being small on paper. It makes me aware we'll never be able to replicate those same experiences ever again.
The days you're living right now may not seem perfect. You may be hoping for a different future, yearning for circumstances that can take you out of your reality. You should dream, but don't let the fantasy take gratitude away from today.
Every second is unique and one of a kind. The more you wish, the more joy you leave on the table. Take a breath and acknowledge how grateful you are to be who you are, and where you are. What you're doing now, even if it's nothing, will be looked upon with fondness in hindsight. Whether that fondness generates appreciation for what you did or regret for what you didn't do is completely up to you.
