Second year presenting a poster at @TheUSCAP and it gets better every time! I had a wonderful time filled with interesting conversations and ideas. Thank you @UABPathology for this amazing opportunity!
@gofinditwhy@UABPathology I missed your comment! I really enjoyed the microscope session on difficult pancreatic neoplasms on FNA. Also, the ASC shark tank was outstanding.
I very much enjoyed attending this year’s ASC meeting. Wonderful talks and meeting inspiring physicians made it so much worth it! #ASCyto2024@UABPathology
Interesting case of the day! Patient in their 50s with a 6 cm thigh mass. Core needle biopsy was performed. What is your working diagnosis? What stains would you order?
Incredibly grateful to have experienced this USCAP 2024 Annual meeting. Amazing talks, reuniting with old friends, making new connections, and feeling the power that we pathologists have as a collective. Already looking forward to the next meeting!
Just a few more photos from @UABPathology’s past couple of days @TheUSCAP’s #USCAP2024, including Drs. McCleskey and Magi-Galluzzi’s matching pathology Barbie moment, and presentations by Drs. Carames, McCleskey, Adekiitan, and Kaur.

There is an empty corner desk in a resident workroom at GW. Now forever engraved in my mind, that desk is a harrowing reminder of the cost of medical training. In his final words, Dr. William West said that he was simply out of gas, that he had nothing left to give.
Woman in her early 20s who developed palpable breast mass at mastopexy scar. What’s your diagnosis and what stains would you do? @UABPathology#PathTwitter#pathology
