Tesla Cybercabs have officially gone Unsupervised in Austin, TX!
Cybercabs are now driving around the city without anyone in the vehicle. No steering wheel, no pedals.
LETS GO!
We unfortunately have decided that we cannot continue providing access to our models through Cursor and are ending our partnership. It boils down to trust and we’ve asked that this takes effect on November 12 to give you some time to plan.
Many have used the GPT models through Cursor and here are options we know should work in the future:
- We will continue to allow using your own OpenAI API key and similarly will continue to provide access through our IDE extensions for Cursor.
- We will keep working with the broadest range of tools and harnesses, some of which are OSS, but also many many closed-source ones.
We are as committed as ever to continue supporting developers and the flourishing ecosystem of tools, harnesses and products. We will also continue to invest in our own open-source initiatives and believe in broad optionality for developers.
You can read more about our decision in the blog:

An engineer that built this 400m-running humanoid robot explained the wild form:
▫️initially designed it with human arm swing
▫️but swinging arms too much put heavy load on shoulder joints, led to overheating (and robot couldn’t finish 400m)
▫️robot invented the new running style on its own (hands held up near face to reduce shoulder load while legs could keep trucking)
▫️per Global Times, “in a simulated learning environment…the team gave the robot continuous rewards, and through repeated iteration on the data it gradually settled into a posture that suited it better.”

This is the most impressive to me, more than the 100m world record.
This requires autonomous real-time planning and action in response to a fast-moving target and dynamic environment.

I was driving around in our @Tesla Model Y today and just couldn't find a parking spot anywhere. Small town, busy, touristy weekend. Drove around a few times, no dice. I just needed to run in somewhere for 15 minutes.
Made me wish I could drop myself off, tell my car when I want to be picked up, and the Tesla could just drive around until it's time and then come pick me up again. Don't need to park.
It could do loops out of congested areas so it's not making traffic worse.
Sort of like Actually Smart Summon, but rather than me parking and then the car coming curbside later, it would just drive itself around, not park, and come back when I tell it I'm ready.
Maybe once they're cleared for fully driverless driving.
Wow, seems like Google is buying Spirit Airlines' enterprise data for $10m (outbidding Mercor at $7.5m).
Basically includes every internal document, email, workflow, and codebase for a once $6B company.
Honestly, $10m for 34 years of operational data really seems like a steal.
SITUATION DETECTED: The U.S. is preparing to tell dozens of countries they must choose a side in the AI competition with China. Those that join Beijing’s AI framework will be excluded from the U.S. led Pax Silica initiative, according to an internal draft letter seen by Reuters.
At what point do we admit that all AI agent products are kinda similar: connect your email, calendar, docs, Slack, cloud, whatever. The agent will then extracts a ton of context about how you work, who you work with, how you communicate, what you care about to turn that into markdown memory files & then an orchestrator on top that learns your patterns and tries to reproduce them.
The frontier isn’t really “chat” anymore. It’s proactive background agents. Users don’t prompt the AI. Agent notices something needs to happen and does the work on the behalf of the user.
And underneath, a lot of it is surprisingly simple conceptually: give the model more context, give it tools, memory, and some cron jobs / triggers / routines.
So the actual game is becoming: who can build the best memory, take the most useful actions, and do it while burning the fewest tokens. Because it’s actually pretty easy to build an amazing personal memory system if you’re willing to spend $100+ per user. The hard part is getting 95% of that quality for $5. The goal is the highest quality context and actions, lowest inference cost to get the highest gross margin.

@cognition Grok 4.7 will exceed all current models.
That said, Anthropic is a great company and will probably release improved models soon.
However, the SpaceX training corpus is so awesome & unique that I would be shocked if any model is better at real-world engineering than 4.7.
The Lakers are being sold to American businessman Josh Kushner and Bob Iger for over $12 billion, a record-breaking price, multiple sources told @ramonashelburne.
