@swyzlebeth @CALFIRERRU It helps the firefighters a lot if the roads are not congested with back and forth traffic. Early evacuations allow them to focus on the fire-fighting effort rather than on life-safety and rescue measures. Best to evac unnecessarily early for the sake of the firefighters.

@sethmpk Unfortunately most places that have rent control laws don’t apply to properties less than 15 years old. Some places it’s properties even older than that! Good luck finding someone willing to move out of a rent controlled unit in San Francisco. It’s impossible!

@rawsalerts Well last time I saw a tweet like this, the fire alarm systems in EVERY building I entered over a 24 hour period all seemed to go off for no reason at all. (No I didn’t start any fires either… lol)
It was very odd and surreal though.

@vicky_dollysmom @veeneecee1985 That’s a tough stage of grief you’re in. Feeling nothing…please remember is just a stage and will pass. There are many stages of grief with the final being acceptance. You will get there in time. It’s a normal part of the process. Trust me, I’ve been where you are.
