It really hit home how worthless these ‘things’ are when I helped my dear Mum move out of her home. Most of the stuff she & Dad had worked so hard for all their lives, had to be left behind. Then when she went to heaven, it hit me even more. They mean nothing!

@UndeservedG Yep!! Having children is a great leveller. Definitely keeps your feet on the ground, shows us how weak & flawed we are, & how imperative it is rely on Him, & Him alone, for everything.
