We broke ground on our first organic ranch in 1998 - the first to grow year-round organic crops. It took many trials and tribulations to perfect our program and provide consistency. What started as 320 acres, has grown into 5,000 acres of certified organic land in CA, AX, and MX!
We promise to grow the best vegetables Mother Nature has to offer, & that starts with our promise to take care of the land. We promise to con't utilizing tried & true #sustainablefarming methods & be innovative. We promise to be proactive when it comes to our carbon footprint.
We are transitioning from waxed cartons to 100% recyclable polypropylene (PP, recycling code #5) cartons. Not only can the polypropylene cartons be recycled, but they also eliminate waste, reduce carbon greenhouse gas, and reduce outbound shipping weight.
Pacific aims to do our part in the circular economy. We mark each of our plastic bags and wraps with a recycling code #4. This lightweight plastic is intended for fresh produce use, and when recycled, it can be used to make paneling, landscape ties, or even floor tiles.
We stick to tried and true methods and lean on our industry to stay up to date with new innovative practices in order to maintain efficiency out in the field. Old and new, these methods allow us to maintain healthy, fertile soil, fight pests naturally, and nurture the land.
As #farmers, it is our number one priority and in our best interest to take care of, and preserve, the land we grow on. This is why we start with choosing growers who hold values that align with ours.
We are committed to the wholesome, #sustainableagriculture system that preserves, and improves, our natural resources like air, soil, & water. We know the dedication and hard work we put into the land now, affects the vegetables we grow and the future generations that follow us.
Our #sustainable practices are tried & true, & #innovative where needed. We have utilized many #farming techniques over the years, as well as continued to follow new & improved ways to better our operations. Each method promotes a more healthy & nutrient-dense soil.
What does #sustainablefarming mean to us? EVERYTHING. As farmers, it is in our best interest to care for the land - not just for us, but for future generations to come.
