@BandGogh@theyeo@joaquin_film@_onthewayjay Oh that could be it. My only qualm is that that grain was bigger than on 35mm, and 65mm, even pushed, would need significant chemical manipulation to produce grain that big. Could be artificially added in post though, and could be 16mm grain overlayed
@Maxisntheree Linus might’ve underexposed and then pushed the film, which is why the texture looks “different” to the normal eye. Same thing happened on the brutalist, which is why the colors feel more rich.
@theyeo@joaquin_film@_onthewayjay No, definitely 16mm, tho yes most of the movie will be filmed in 65mm in IMAX. The scenes of Paul and chani, like where they’re arguing and when Paul picks up the blue scarf have a lot bigger grain, matching the grain structure of 16mm film
Christopher Nolan has announced that ‘THE PRESTIGE’ will be re-released in theaters this January for the film's 20th anniversary.

The best part of my Ireland trip was when I was in a Japanese restaurant in Cork and Waterfall by The Stone Roses started playing and me and the woman next to me (about my dads age) were singing along. My dad unfortunately isn’t tapped into British rock and was not singing along
