We have had two brilliant art sessions with Mrs Brunt from Sheldon! We traced creatures and plants onto acetate using sharpies, then collaged the back of them using small pieces of coloured paper ๐ These will be on display on our classroom window ๐ ๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ป๐ชฒ๐

Dear universe, I never won anything as a child & I've not won lots of book awards. Being a winner feels like dressing in clothes I can't afford but gosh it's heady fun. At the end of the day, it's about the children who read the books & I hope we've written something they'll love
What a lovely afternoon it was for outdoor learning! We picked a detailed natural item - like a leaf or flower - and sketched it, using different shading techniques, all while sat in the sunshine on the field โ๏ธ
Wow - what a jam-packed, fun week! Iโm so proud of each and every one of you Pine Martens and your attitude to learning in the first week back in the classroom. Have a lovely weekend ๐ค
We read The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse in school and at home today, then created artwork in the style of Charlie Mackesy with words that mean a lot to us. Here are some of our pieces โค๏ธ #WorldBookDay
Here are some of our potato book characters for #WorldBookDay. On Google Classroom we were posting photos of the potatoes and everyone was guessing who they were! Brilliant fun.
