This singer changed music without saying a word:
• She's won 4 Grammys
• Made over $500 Million
• Sold more albums than Taylor Swift
Yet her hit songs rarely have "real" lyrics.
Here's how her voice hypnotized a generation: 🧵
Growing up is understanding that in Titanic, Rose decides to throw away a $250 million pendant in memory of an unemployed man who she had sex with one time.
Meanwhile, her husband worked hard all his life to maintain her and give her and her children a life of luxury, who would surely have also appreciated the inheritance and lived peacefully.
She could of also given the pendant to her Granddaughter who took care of her, her whole life.
The real villain of the movie gentlemen, no doubt it was Rose.
"A fundamental change in the relationship with the state". The state already forbids/inhibits ppl to die with dignity. The state already interferes in a person's ability to direct their own life. The Bill doesn't help, it stops inhibiting. #AssistedDyingBill
Talking about the loathsome piece of shit and Elon Musk, this is one of the most powerful, on point speeches I've ever hear from AOC — who just keeps getting better and better at this. 🎯🎯🎯👇
The royal household's security team are so slow and incompetent that it took them until the day of the coronation concert to vet a piano teacher and then rescind his invitation to help a performer? Unforgivable. And worrying for Their Majesties' security. #LUCY#windsorcastle
God she's awful. Is there really no one she won't be a cunt to? Of all the problems a Home Secretary has to deal with? BBC News - Home Secretary Suella Braverman wants to restrict use of tents by homeless

"I was told that switching off the power line took ages because no one knew who to contact, so the paramedics couldn't get under the train to get me out of there." @TfL@RMTunion https://t.co/0tg0daBiKV
Andrew O'Connor KC - Does it come back to the fact that Matt Hancock, regularly, was telling people things, that they later discovered weren't true?
Helen MacNamara - Yes.

@Channel4News I know you like @krishgm 's combative tabloid style for creating a bit of spice on your programme but having him shout over the people whose voices we'd rather hear - his interviewees - is desperately boring. Every single interview he does. #shutupkrishnan
Luxe Lifestyle PPE contract 2020
April 7th Mark Higton (then Chair of Hammersmith and Fulham Conservatives, and Hands’ ‘associate through the party’) sends email to Greg Hands
April 10th Hands forwards this email onto JACT with the words “See below to check out please.”
17 days later
April 27th Luxe Lifestyle, having no former experience in PPE, is granted £25.8m worth of PPE orders. Contract signed on this date
Greg Hands has assured me of the following
“I had no further involvement, other than to advise Mr Higton when he subsequently contacted me, that he needed to speak with officials (not me), and to visit the government website which had by then been set up for such offers. Government officials, I believe at the Department of Health, made decisions on who got contracts and what sort of contracts there were. I rightly had nothing to do with this, nor do I know what the outcome was in Mr Higton’s case”.
The PPE
Later it was shown that £20million of the PPE delivered by Luxe Lifestyle was not used. We do not know if it was unusable.
The Money
Luxe Lifestyle is more than 18 months late in submitting its accounts to Companies House and has, according to Companies House, twice tried for "voluntary strike off" to close the company down. An objection to that voluntary strike off was lodged in Feb 2023. It isn’t known by whom.
