This is what @bbcbitesize is teaching our children about climate breakdown. I'm sorry, but it's an absolute disgrace. You could come away thinking: "on balance, it sounds pretty good". It could have been written by Exxon.

We love the NHS, they said.
NHS staff are heroes, they said.
NHS forever, they said.
All the whole quietly siphoning huge tranches of NHS care into US corporate hands.
Please RT if you won’t stand for it. https://t.co/wSLMZfRz78
@electricalWSOP I smashed a cheap SG copy once. I swear it snapped mid-swing before I hit anything. It just gave up. I was left holding the neck, the body swinging from slack strings almost to mock me. I wasn't sure what to do next so I quietly walked off stage.
The smashing Hope Cafe, 50 yds up the road from us on the other side, is finding it hard these days. A proper decades-old London institution, gone like tears in the ruddy rain? It's ruddy heartbreaking. It’s time for Hope: https://t.co/PYqdoziSH5
"Right now more than ever we are desperate for hope. But what is hope?
For me, hope is the feeling that keeps you going, even though all odds may be against you. For me hope comes from action not just words. For me, hope is telling it like it is."

@MrTomGray What always seems missing from this debate is how the market decides what a stream is worth. If a niche listener pays €10 a month to listen to 100 songs, once, then those should be "worth" more than if they listened to 1000 streams. This could fix so much.
After dozens of successful pilot campaigns and thousands of records shipped, we’re now opening our vinyl pressing service to the wider Bandcamp community. Details here:

I bought an SSD and Windows licence so that I could use my dev machine for @AvidProTools. It took three attempts to install, then wouldn't run. After some DLL prodding I fixed it by installing C++ runtime deps, only to find huge WinXP window borders and no HiDPI support 🤦
@davehodg I have definitely not missed the incessant rebooting, progress bars that get to 100% and then hang for 10 minutes, and installers that fail on a fresh build. I think I might regret this decision 😂
I keep hearing Windows is much better these days? I just lost a morning trying to install it. I had to remove all USB storage and SSDs (which involved removing graphics card and heat sinks) to appease the installer's cryptic error messages. Wtaf.
