@Melancholy_Mal@simonyemane Loan is not at all helpful for us, some of Bergvall’s biggest value for us is that he’d be homegrown at club from next season. Wouldn’t be the case if he went on loan.
@Chikosims@TheSpursExpress@David_Ornstein The headloss I’d have if we sell to Forest at all after last year.
Would be more accepting (although still not particularly pleased) if he went to Newcastle after we got Tonali from them
@TJH_THFC@HotspurFC82 Yes, lots will be sold, but that won’t be enough.
This is what I imagine our squad will look like next season, even assuming we only sign Savinho & another striker between then and now.
If we get into Europe, Moore & Lankshear could be added, but that’s it. It’s not enough.
@TJH_THFC@HotspurFC82 Ah yes because Lankshear and Moore are such established first team players.
We currently have ~30 first team players. Some will still be sold (and some more likely bought) but it would need to be 25 inclusive of the 4 HG. We’d have to get rid of players to fit Lankshear & Moore
@ThePremInside Absolutely horrific, why on earth did we go for 6 defenders with so long left? Why not try and go for some balance after they scored their first? Why even bring on Konsa?
@SpursITKhub I’ve never understood how people were saying Djed was terrible every game when O’Reilly was noticeably worse for me in each game they’ve played.
Guess it’s maybe just a Man City/Spurs thing?
@gavinwi84220326@SJackson2466375@AdamJSmithy Henderson? The guy with a broken arm or whatever that hasn’t played a minute all tournament? Shows how much you know.
If you’re talking about Anderson, both attacking and defending players grab and hold in every penalty. What decently isn’t allowed is two handed pushes
@SpursyDave@juddr_@HLTCO CBs and RW.
When youre a full back, if you’re having even the slightest trouble against a winger, your own winger should come back to help double up on him, yet for some reason never happened then
@Goatzelll@ReubenPinder The point is, the attacker is entitled to protect the ball they’re dribbling with. The defender is not entitled to foul him just because he’s protecting it
@jamesallcott He’s also entitled to shield the ball, given he’s dribbling with it.
A defender IS NOT just allowed to foul a player because that player puts his body between the defender and the ball. Should have been a pen, and definitely wasn’t a clear and obvious error
@ShayDzn@georgeachillea I would very much be admitting it was a pen. Djed stepped across his man to shield the ball, as he is entitled to do whilst dribbling. He doesn’t initiate contact, the defender does, he just puts himself in the position that the defender can foul him
@ThePremInside Every decision going Norway’s way now too, almost as if they don’t want the game to be over already…
No world is it ever a clear and obvious error
@ShayDzn@georgeachillea He’s allowed to run across a man when he’s dribbling with the ball, doesn’t mean the guy can just foul him cause he steps across him
