In another great year for TV, here are my top 5 shows in order so far.
1. Star City- the most complete viewing experience of the year. Rarely do I levitate out of my seat from TV. 🕴🏻
2. Widow’s Bay- the most fun watch. Patricia’s party ep was the best of the year
3. The Bear- they landed the plane through the storm of seasons 3 & 4. High degree of difficulty
4. Industry- I could watch 50 seasons. It’s my bag.
5. Knight of the Seven Kingdoms- I’ll never forget Egg’s scream in the penultimate ep. Can’t wait for S2
There’s been a lot of things in the world this year that have frightened me to my core. But none, and I mean NONE, have made me more uncomfortable than that trailer for Jessica Chastain’s new movie OTHER MOMMY.
What the hell was that??????? 😵💫
Just got out of The Odyssey and I’m going to need a second. And not in a good way. In the future I don’t think I will watch full sequences months in advance of a movie I’m highly anticipating.
A couple months ago I watched the best scene of this film and the rest of it could not sustain that level of intensity and engagement for me. Ugh
One time I sent what was supposed to be an internal email on pricing strategy straight to the client. Right after pressing send I said oh shit realizing this mistake. So I sent an email immediately following up with a useless piece of information. Then I told my boss and everyone else on the thread to also send an email in rapid fire succession to confuse and disorient the client. The client eventually was like oh man you guys are on it today let’s just set up a call. They never saw my original email amid the smoke and mirrors.
Anyways, anything going on tonight America?
Let me tell you something- the closest I’m ever getting to a bison, on purpose, is when I order the Bison burger no bun with sweet potato fries at Houlihans.
That tourist attended FOU- Find Out University and graduated magma cum laude.
Every single commercial and promo for tomorrow’s USA vs Belgium match should be:
“A different kind of Monday Night Football”
Wake the fuck up Fox, Michelob, et al.
Weekend Viewage pt 2: we’re halfway through the year and I’ve watched 33 films released in 2026. Little behind on my quest to 100 but don’t count me out yet. Here are my top 5 of the year so far. In order:
1. Project Hali Mary
2. 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple
3. Primate
4. Crime 101
5. Send Help
This week will watch Obsession, Backrooms, and The Sheep Detectives.
Weekend Viewage pt 3: Knicks run and The World Cup put a lid on Viewage but here’s a quick blitz of what’s on the grill:
1. Star City- if you loved Chernobyl this is required Viewage
2. Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed- high risk to reward ratio. Short eps, funny, interesting, and combines genres
3. Below Deck Mediterranean- between last season Down Under and this one, it’s a nice palette cleanse for so much espionage and dragons
