🥀Transport in Westminster should work for local people, not be imposed on them by Sadiq Khan. We’ll put residents first in every decision.
✅ Vote Conservative on 7 May for transport that works for all. https://t.co/SvlzCJNVmn
🚨 Residents have told me that Labour-led Westminster City Council are evicting almost every resident from a recently purchased block of flats in Kew, including elderly and vulnerable people.
💥 If true, this is an alarming and shocking dereliction of duty to local people.
❗I am demanding Westminster Labour answer urgently:
❓What assessment was made of the impact on elderly and vulnerable residents?
🤝 What support is being offered to those affected?
🥀 How does this stand with Labour's supposed opposition to no fault evictions?
⚠️ If Labour are going to force local people from their homes, they deserve answers.
💙 Westminster Conservatives will always stand on the side of people in our city.

@72Munster I’m suggesting that the e-bike hire companies pay for more parking spaces. Not funded by taxpayers. Quite the opposite. The stats are not easy to show direct correlation but we can see a fall in car usage and rise in e-bike usage.
Almost a year after the water in Pimlico was contaminated we are yet to reach a satisfactory conclusion on potential causes. @thameswater have been great @CityWestminster could try harder.
Last year Labour-run @CityWestminster increased parking charges for electric vehicles by up to 1800%. Yesterday the Labour Government chose to introduce pay-per-mile charges for electric vehicle owners.
Yet again Labour talks the talk on improving air quality but refuses to walk the walk.
A boiler shouldn’t cost £50,000 but that’s what Labour’s current proposals could leave leaseholders paying for a new heating system! https://t.co/9QhognmydN
Conservative Cllrs Jim Glen, David Harvey & Ed Pitt-Ford backed local people last night against Labour’s £400m Pimlico District Heating Undertaking fiasco - winning unanimous approval for residents to have independent legal support and the transparency they deserve on their community heating system. A real win for protection and residents’ voices. #Westminster #PDHU https://t.co/nDhYzFi6VT
I was proud to have helped @David_Cameron fight for Equal Marriage inside the Conservative Party and nationally. And I will defend it with everything I can, it is wrong to demonise someone because of who they love. And ReformUK are showing their true colours with this hate campaign.
In Feb 2024 @RyanJudeGreen committed to hiring an infrastructure investment expert to support Pimlico residents on district heating replacement. No one was hired and Labour are about to discount all but one option. https://t.co/3iNWNtEcea
I am hearing shocking news that @CityWestminster have agreed to hand over #oxfordstreet to the Mayor under red route regulations! What happened to standing up to @MayorofLondon for our residents! How can you say it is needed as a Red route and pedestrianise
Once we have full details I will share.
