Fire Departments are responding smoke in the area calls. Smoke from the Canadian wildfires is drifting into the area causing hazy conditions and the smell of smoke. Atmospheric conditions are causing it to settle into our area. Those with respiratory issues should remain inside.
The Pittsford Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank the Pittsford Central School District and the Mendon Varsity Baseball team for including us in their 1st annual, First Responder Appreciation Game. Members joined representatives of Monroe County Sheriffs Department.
