@adamhwatts The most notable one that we don't have true info on is the 2020 team as well. Legitimately believe that team would have been number 1 if the season happened. I would put my vote in for 18. All 3 top contenders deserve it but I remember 18 team feeling more inevitable.

@HotMicWDAY I am hesitant to love it but I see every JMU fan loving it in FBS so I have a lot of hope for the move up. I will miss competing for a National Title every year but the move was needed. Hopefully NDSU can replicate JMUs success at FBS.

@BJosephRadio @adamhwatts The issue is that you think a team in transition with additional scholarships last year in mo State didn't lose 59-21 to NDSU. It wasn't close. NDSU has routinely been very competitive with higher level p4 teams when they those teams play them. What is their big disadvantage?

@ImmaculateView I don't think it stops the conference but I look at schools like Nevada who have wallowed for a long time who see NDSU as another barrier they don't want. I can't imagine MWC doesn't just want the most competitive conference it's just the schools afraid I think.

@SamHerderFCS We were having a similar convo last year and the rule stays the same in FCS. Teams who have great performances don't overtake unless there is a clear problem with number 1. And historically that has proven to be correct. Until NDSU shows weakness at all they should be number 1.

@Pastrytime I think that after enough time it feels tough to get through. There is definitely ways and strategies to do so and players should learn but the mental anguish is hard to ignore. I think the history of how long it takes the average blue deck to win vs other colors makes it harder.

@Pastrytime I would say that counterspells make the countered player feel worse because it feels like a never ending wall. Constant fear of the counter does more mental damage then the counter itself. If you doom blade my fatty for some reason it doesn't feel as bad. Don't know why, but is.

@matthewfraase Alot will dictate the decision including how many SDSU players enter the portal in the next week. If we see people jump with Rodgers gronowski is going to WSU if not it's a much tougher decision. His stock is lower then he could have it be.

@adamhwatts As someone making one of those drives to get to one of these games, it is ridiculous to think it's the same place. It's such a different world, it's 11 hours in a car, you could get across 8 states in the NE in that time or more. They aren't the same.
