@RonitChidara@waitin4agi_ Instinct is definitely a muse but the edge muse has access to meta’s already existing social infrastructure fb , insta , and other tools
I do have to say chatting with an ai inside iMessage does feel natively different in terms of user experience
The truly great amoung us are the ones who not only work hard but also are exposed to opportunities that favor them.
You need to be first get to a place where you are exposed to those opportunities , this can be in a world class uni , a new city or connection
There is so much advice on the internet that It all cancels out to zero. We should be focusing inward not outward. There's an abundance of voices. Do not forget your own
After living life being a corporate nut for the past 2 years, here is some perspective from a person who thrives on curiosity and chaos.
I started as a techie for the first 3 months of my internship at an IIT Delhi backed Education Startup.
Started from developing the company's frontend website using React, framer libraries and MongoDB.
Moved on to designing UX's and user flows for internal software & CRMs. Developing and launching Game dev programs.
Collaborating with the marketing sales & ops team to help them drive more revenue.
This is where I discovered my other strengths that outpowered core tech.
It was at this time that my goals shifted from being an SDE and towards being a product manager, however I didn't realize this at that time.
The founder noticed this and I was given a PPO as a founders office role. Now I directly help the leadership with the most critical tasks and management.
Phase 2 of my journey started and the most crucial thing at that time was fundraising. We spend the next 3 months creating a perfected pitch encapsulating effective storytelling , sales skills and grilling down ourselves on the organisation's numbers.
Days preparing TAM SAM SOM , EBITA , DCF and other terms. The working half of my day was spent reaching out to potential investors , pitching them for a meeting in person or virtually via cold mailing , warm connections , etc .
@StephNass@OpenVC_ was the one of the best resources out there.
That IIT D tag and effective copywriting did help here. I learned how to write effectively and present to the stakeholders in a way that they'd themselves want to move further and talk about revenues , ideas and investments. The most powerful thing was to give them a sense of decision-making.
To my surprise the most successful busy giants replied within 24-48 hours , sometimes immediately and were ready to listen to us.
Learning an abundance of things that you cannot directly apply , use or monetize.
Don't know what to do with such information , just running wild on curiosity
Hai Dilip, this felt more relatable than ever. Been there, done that. Eventually felt like I have to move for better compensation. Startups that do this, unless they reward their employees fairly, they are eventually going to overgrow it iand over time all of this you mentioned will catch up to them.
However now while working in a bigger company, I do feel like I am not moving and the corporate life looks hella boring.
