I hope that @AmazonHelp can do a better job of getting me a replacement or refund for a defective @manfrotto_fr collapsible backdrop that I bought in August on @AmazonFrance, which broke after only 6 months of use. I'm not getting anywhere with @Videndum_plc or @AmazonFrance.

@AmazonHelp As I've been chatting with you in this thread, I've received an email from @AmazonFrance offering me a return for refund. I will pursue this option as a solution. If you had something to do with this result, I thank you. What a relief to finally have a solution after 6 weeks!

@AmazonHelp Last week @Videndum_plc Videndum Media Solutions told me that they were still waiting for a reply from their technicians (requested one week prior). Last night I received (yet another) email saying that my case has been resolved, with no explanation (and apparently no solution).

@AmazonHelp If I recall correctly, the initial proposal (automated) was to contact the repair company, who never officially told me it was irreparable, but contacted the manufacturer on my behalf, with no result. The person I spoke with at @AmazonFrance basically told me I was out of luck.

@AmazonHelp Hi @AmazonHelp, yes, I have called and emailed them. I was told when I called that Amazon won't refund or replace it because it is more than 30 days past the purchase date. The product is under a manufacturer's warranty still, but they are giving me the runaround too.
