#web#programming QUESTION:
Why has peer-to-peer, serverless webhosting not taken shape (and if I'm wrong, please, anyone send any resources).
I can't fathom why there's no large project to achieve this?
@dmbarbosa1 Yeah, i wont get into it, but sure, games can make ppl feel better...on hardware made by children who wont ever.'play' anything. I'll have to head back to my alt acct, not the place to have these discussions.

@leviathan_bound @Suzi3D expresses this really well I think, w/Panquake....where it's like, these companies are manipulating how we see our FRIENDS. it's so insidious.
@leviathan_bound no i think that's spot on - I don't really care about anonymity, my main issue is corporate control, 'personalization', editorialization....it drives me (and the rest of the world, though most don't realize) insane.
@leviathan_bound @PANquake Issues:
- JS/bloated webpage trends enforce the client<---server model (and offloads server work to your crappy browser, hence 'planned obsolescence' feel that the web has)
- Huge favor of downstream over upstream on internet connections....again just enforces current trends
