@guycalledfrank I hope one day you reconsider this because Bakery is incredible, but I mainly use Godot. I've been told Bakery can also output to vertex color, which is something Godot can't do with its current lightmap situation.
@80Level Terrible news. It often feels like Autodesk has no idea what they're doing or direction these past 10 years or so. Max has been in such a mediocre state for a while.
I sometimes make weird low-poly stuff I don't show off to the public. However, I enjoyed how this came out, so I wanted to post it here. A gun partly inspired by the Unreal Tournament (1999) Enforcer.

I've been reading your blog entries on the development of this game, and it's highly intriguing all the technicalities/work that went into this to really push the NES so far, both graphically and musically. Keep it up!
