@enterprisecares Picked up @ Hobart airport today something wrong with the car. It's revving high (4000+ at 50kmph) I'm concerned about returning it to the airport. Can someone call me 61 467 960 691 I'd like to drop it at Hobart City tomorrow AM and pick up new vehicle.
@simonjwoolf @jamiegoode @terroirmerroir @winescholarguil When I visited Eulogio Pomares once he said: “Green harvesting is a result of poor vineyard work, if you seek balance in the vineyard using natural composts the vines won’t overproduce and you won’t need to do that extra work”.
Hear, hear! The polystyrene also comes from organic wineries or producers claiming to be sustainable. Sustainability is holistic... and don't even get me started on over-chunky bottles...😬
I wish journalists would stop implying that natural wine has health benefits @tomfball@thetimes there is scant evidence any wine has measurable health benefits, natural is no 'better' in that sense than conventional wines.
@sarahtacp I also think it’s a positive thing to open consumers eyes to how most everyday wine is made. Clue it’s not a weather beaten grandpa picking grapes by hand, basket pressing them into oak barrels, then meticulously hand waxing the bottles 🤫
@sarahtacp Depends how far you want to take it, and parallels with natural/low intervention debate. Manure use / animals in the vineyard would cut out many organic + biodynamic producers who care deeply about stewardship of their land, a cause close to many vegans’ hearts as well?

Loved the recent Viñateros tasting in London, maybe one of the last big ones for a while. A heartening snapshot of new wave Spain https://t.co/y4rVsB0ugC

@FelicityCarter Plus the agricultural industry are a very powerful lobby and they will fight this every step of the way, like the oil industry is fighting clean energy and still denying climate change
