I was honoured to be one of the people helping to launch the new masters course in Trauma-Informed Practice, to be delivered at @TUS_ie in Limerick, Ireland. Their energy is palpable.
The first thing we learn about our caregivers, educational staff, etc. is the ability to make us feel safe or not. Our brains and nervous systems will adapt to that environment.
It's about winning the trust. Especially young people with exacerbated and unresolved trauma. 🧠🌱
