Im after some help/advice please.
I'm a disabled driver and need adaptations to my car to allow me to drive it.
If I buy a new car and the adaptations are made before I receive the car it is then VAT exempt under HMRC guidelines. I have done this on various occasions before without any problems.
However I am trying to buy a new Volvo and they have said that they are unwilling to allow anything to happen in relation to disability adaptations prior to delivery and thus not allowing the 20% VAT reduction in cost. Despite this VAT exemption I still have to pay for the additional work on top of any vehicle purchase price (£1k-£5k)
In my mind Volvo are forcing me to pay an additional 20% on the purchase price of the car unlike anyone else. This will a[ply not just to me but also anyone else with a disability who wants to buy a Volvo direct
Is this discriminatory ?
Any suggestions how to deal with problem ?

Once again the wheelchairs get stitched - bought wheelchair and companion seats for @beyonceinlondon through @Tickermaster to find they are normal seats up a flight of stairs - no respect or insight and still charge me full price to now being at the back end of the stadium
