Dear #BillsMafia,

You suffered with us through 2 decades of Brady. Together we felt the indignity of watching our division title get clinched easily by New England year after year, usually around the beginning of December.

You’ve done well for yourselves with the timing of your return to power, capitalizing on the Pats downfall and claiming 3 division titles of your own. This has been a historically memorable run for your team over the past few seasons.

It is pride, hope, and desperation that drives each of our fan bases. We want the same things, yet success for one of us means despair for the other.

It is in that line between success and despair that bonds our rivalry. Without the capability for success by both sides, the rivalry does not have power.

Let’s allow ourselves to appreciate each other while also fueling a rivalry that is the strongest it’s been in the past 30 years.
