Today, we reaffirm our commitment on Promoting Nano Fertilisers for reducing chemical load, improving nutrient use efficiency, and protecting soil health for future generations. Scaling organic and natural farming initiatives through IFFCO’s farmer-centric programs. Tree plantation drives, watershed management, and biodiversity efforts that touch thousands of villages every year.

Together, we will nurture the soil that feeds us, protect the environment that sustains us, and build a prosperous, climate smart future for our generations.

It is praiseworthy that IFFCO Phulpur Unit @IffcoPKSingh has achieved outstanding performance during FY 2025-26, with IFFCO Phulpur-II Plant recording highest ever Urea production of 12.35 Lakh MT and dispatch of 12.34 Lakh MT, along with highest ever Ammonia production.

The unit’s continued excellence in energy management, reflected in recognitions such as “Excellent Energy Efficient Unit” and “National Energy Leader” by CII, highlights its strong focus on sustainability and efficiency.

The achievement of Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) under UNFCCC further reaffirms the unit’s contribution towards environmental stewardship and clean energy initiatives.

My congratulations to the entire team for these significant accomplishments and for consistently driving operational excellence and sustainability. Keep up the good work and bring laurels to the unit & IFFCO in future.

We are happy to share the great news that IFFCO marking yet another defining milestone in its journey of innovation by pioneering nanofertilizer technology for the world. It is a matter of immense national pride that IFFCO, which introduced the first FCO approved nanofertilizers in India, has once again led from the front by bringing forth the indigenously developed Nano NPK Liquid (8-8-10) and Nano NPK Granular (20-10-10). Building upon the success of earlier innovations, both these products have now been duly approved under the Fertilizer Control Order (FCO), as notified in the recent Gazette of India. These first of their kind formulations represent a significant advancement towards balanced crop nutrition by integrating both foliar and basal application methods, thereby reinforcing IFFCO’s leadership in sustainable agricultural innovation and showcasing India’s growing strength in advanced agri-technologies.

This breakthrough is a significant step in service of Indian farmers, ensuring enhanced nutrient use efficiency, improved soil health, and higher crop productivity. Nano NPK Liquid is designed for foliar nutrition, while Nano NPK Solid (20-10-10) is a novel nano formulation catering to both soil application and root feeding. Together, they enable precise and targeted nutrient delivery aligned with peak crop requirements. These innovations substantially reduce the need for conventional chemical fertilizers, lower input costs, and support improved yield and superior quality produce, all while minimizing environmental impact. This reflects IFFCO’s unwavering commitment to empowering farmers with efficient, modern, and eco-friendly agricultural solutions.

In the prevailing global scenario marked by geopolitical uncertainties affecting fertilizer supply chains, this development stands as a matter of great importance for the nation. It significantly contributes to India’s journey towards self-reliance in fertilizers by reducing import dependency and conserving valuable foreign exchange. Aligned with the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, it also strengthens the cooperative ethos of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi,” ensuring inclusive growth, national resilience, and sustainable prosperity for farmers and the country at large. This achievement reiterates IFFCO’s continuous commitment to ushering in transformative nano fertiliser technologies for the benefit of farmers, the nation, and mankind as a whole.

Today, I had the honour and privilege of calling on Shri Amit Shah Ji @AmitShah, Hon’ble Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation, at his residence office in New Delhi. The meeting was warm, inspiring, and deeply meaningful for the cooperative movement. I was pleased to brief the Hon’ble Minister on IFFCO’s overall performance, including the manufacturing and sales progress of conventional and speciality fertilisers, with a special focus on Nano fertilisers. I also shared the encouraging growth in exports of Nano Urea, reflecting its increasing global acceptance and trust in Indian cooperative innovation.

It was a moment of immense pride to apprise him that through IFFCO’s joint venture, IFFCO Nanoventions with a Brazilian partner, a Nano fertiliser manufacturing plant in Brazil will become operational by June 2026. This milestone stands as a powerful testament to the vision of Sahakar Se Samriddhi and the Hon’ble Minister’s dynamic and visionary leadership, taking Indian cooperatives to the global stage.

Hon’ble Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji shared valuable thoughts on further strengthening IFFCO’s leadership role as a cooperative institution, rooted in committed partnerships with farmers, to accelerate agriculture led development for the nation. I also updated him on IFFCO’s ongoing efforts towards education, awareness, and empowerment of farmers for the effective adoption of Nano fertilisers.
We had a constructive and forward-looking discussion on strategies to strengthen cooperatives by leveraging IFFCO’s vast, robust, and trusted cooperative network. These efforts will play a significant role in strengthening the rural economy and empowering cooperatives as engines of inclusive growth.

I express my sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Minister for his guidance, encouragement, and for graciously sparing time from his busy schedule for this insightful interaction. IFFCO remains committed to playing a leadership role in realising the shared dream of prosperous farmers and strong cooperatives.
