I have been following this horse for whenever she debuts since I found out about her. A daughter of Kitasan Black is being trained in Europe by a world-class trainer.

The book these are from is called Tokai Teio Yume o Kakeru! Yes it’s the same as S2’s opening and I don’t think that’s a coincidence. The book is from 1994, and it can be on the expensive side as I don’t think it’s been in print for a long time.

Boarders at stables also have to sign a similar waiver that just adds extra things regarding the fact that their horse will be turned out in a group and they can’t sue over herd behavior. No reasonable stable owner will keep horses that obviously have a bad dynamic together tho.

Overall I think the promotions are something that needs to happen with the investment into dirt racing. Having these objectively difficult to win races not give international graded black type doesn’t make a lot of sense imo.

I wonder what NAR races will get graded promotions once they can petition for them. Based on what I understood from the pattern guidelines a good amount will need a couple years of running with some rule changes to submit the request, but the competition they—

Based on the rules to be a Kentucky Derby trial race, I think the Zen-Nippon Nisai Yushun can be petitioned to become graded whenever as they had to make it so it wasn’t LR so it could be a trial, and given its status, it definitely deserves to be graded.
