Canine Warriors Re-Attired

On the ocassion of Corps Day of the Remount and Veterinary Corps (RVC), #IndianArmy gifted 12 retired Army Dogs to Asha Schools and few good Samaritans. This initiative seeks to provide homes to the dogs, where genuine love and compassion can flourish between them and their new family.

The presence of these dogs will bring immense therapeutic benefits to the children with special needs of the Asha Schools, helping them improve their social, emotional, and cognitive skills. For the families, adopting these #Canine heroes offers a unique opportunity to provide a loving home to a true patriot who has contributed selflessly to the nation, while gaining a loyal and loving companion.

The #IndianArmy maintains Geriatric Centres for its retired equine and canine soldiers, treating them with honour and care in their sunset years. These centres ensure that the animals receive comfort, care and dedicated veterinary support, when they need it the most.
