America has always had an inculcated elite. a brahmin class, differentiated from the rest, whose decisions were made to matriculate down to the exoteric state.

this elite used to be made of our own blood. they, at one time, had a connection to the genetic raw material they sprouted from, that provides the fertile breeding ground of culture the culture bearing stratum use and refine to produce high culture, the natural fruit of a people with vitality.

replacement started at the top. a counter elite decapitated the wasp order, and the remnant that stayed were forced to convert and pledge allegiance.

because of the inculcated nature of our elite, this all happened outside of public view. and while the remnant traitors help our new elite work the old machine, they are still awkward. it doesn't belong to them. so they make obvious mistakes, and the public notices. they see something and think: wow, that's weird.

in the past, when socialism was on the rise, the American elite, led by Carnegie, created philanthropy (the Gospel of Wealth), and curated culture: they created universities, foundations, public parks, and so on. this, along with the fordist-FDR fusion, was successful enough to buy off the public with a uniquely American form of social democracy.

today, with socialism on the rise, the elite patron’s of Trump are instead acting like the looters of the Soviet Union, grabbing every last piece because the writing’s on the walls. and other elite factions are instead focusing on fortressing and defense technology, artificial intelligence and surveillance. instead of challenging or even trying to slow the collapse, they’re betting on technofeudalism. they have no loyalty anywhere, they will, in the end, finance their own high tech coffin.

since the mid 20th century, every first world country, with the sole exception of their guarantor, America, has run some variation of universal healthcare. Israel, likewise, has universal healthcare, and they seem to be doing just fine.

this has only recently broken down and it is explicitly because of diversity and immigration, starting with the 2011 Syrian refugee crisis, with a special effort by Germany’s Merkel. the acceleration of the end of the 20th century started with 9/11, the 2008 financial crisis and downstream european effects, the murder of Gaddafi, and the 2011 Syrian refugee crisis. from the IMF to austerity in Greece, the GWOT, mass immigration and the arab spring, to the entire mess of the world state right now has primarily these catalyst.

a universal program is more efficient. all of the overhead necessary for private firms - managing and denying claims, administration, lawyers, etc- is simplified into a simple structure with a single payer.

however, it’s only this efficient without waste, fraud, and abuse.

the only way to reliably neutralize waste, fraud, and abuse holistically is to have, within the society, high social trust OR a truly meritocratic technician.

the problem with the latter is the corrupting power of factions, which naturally emerge from low trust societies.

it’s not that high trust societies do not have factions. but they stay within the level of friend in a friend-enemy distinction. it rarely should step outside of that boundary, unless one of them is acted on by a foreign influence.

in contrast, in low trust societies the power competition between factions lends itself well to existential level competition and winner-take-all. because of this, power competition is violent.

empires, which i follow the very simply definition of states with more than one identifiable ethnos, naturally have to manage social trust. historically, this is accomplished by trading some degree of autonomy and respect for loyalty and tribute, that or maintained domination, which is expensive and must be maintained. fear and respect.

in Canada, the anglo-saxon ethnos of britannia, still in communion with the anglo order the American ethnos cleaved itself from, negotiated a north American empire with the french. Montreal existed as a french state with loyalty to the anglo empire in exchange for autonomy. this is glossing over french separatist movements, like the quebecois, but i’d argue they were a product of their era, the same one that saw the years of lead, the weather underground, the IRA, and so on. before the cultural revolution, this arrangement was fruitful enough.

so as a multiracial empire with low social trust, America would have to implement a technician with a strong executive and administrative mandate and discretion. someone with Richard Hanania might describe as elite human capital.

because America has not granted autonomy to various ethnos in her portfolio, because even the primary ethnos is in question, factionalism in America is existential, and the medicine, granting and respecting autonomy in exchange for loyalty, is managed in the dark. the elite management of America is treated as an open secret and the media are prohibited from the state from reporting it. that is the real media censorship in America. and it is enforced privately and imposed onto the state with force.

so any technician in a hostile, factional elite power competition will be converted into a sinecure and rewarded to their base.
