Most apps want an account, a subscription, and a look at your stuff.
I make the opposite. Small free iOS apps — no ads, no login, nothing of yours on a server of mine.
A journal, a games shelf, a toddler drawing app. I ship them.

My wife's period tracker made her watch a 30-second ad every time she opened it. Others sell your cycle data.
So we built our own.
Flow State: free forever. No ads, no account, no analytics. Your data stays on your phone.
Live on iPhone. Already full-screen on iPhone Duo 👀
Nozzle has gone European! 🇪🇺
Now covering fuel prices in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Croatia and Lithuania, along with UK!
And now on iPhone Duo too! Unfold it for the map on one side and prices on the other.
Available right now for free! No ads, no accounts, no tracking!
@ChadSchraeder free with no ads is rare for a word game. is the word list hand-trimmed or a full dictionary? obscure words are usually what makes these feel unfair.
@BrettEast a 30-second ad on open is a rough fit for an app you open when you least want to wait. does flow state do its predictions on-device, or is it logging only for now?
@Driftlog_app makes sense. the photo backfill is the clever part, since nobody remembers to open a travel app before a trip. does it skip screenshots and saved images, or only use photos with camera location data?
a journal with no ads and no analytics. entries stay on your phone or in your own icloud.
2.3: three new styles, working on, reply from a reminder, optional face id lock, stopwatch runs saved to apple health, and an open-book layout on iphone duo.

A kids’ app with no account, no ads, no tracking, one price, offline. Scores stay on your device. Made by a small family company in Ankara. #Reflexa#Privacy
@rjozefowicz doing the same pass on english keywords this week. first lesson: don't spend keyword space on words already in the name or subtitle, apple indexes those anyway. curious if the localized ones move anything.
@BoJack_D keeping only the count is a good line to draw. we make a journal that keeps everything on the phone, and the question we keep coming back to is what not to keep. this answers it all the way.
@gAmUssA we went with an open-book layout for our journal on duo instead of stretching one column. for a world clock i'd be tempted by cities on one page, the day on the other. which way did you go?
@jbrooksuk pass-and-play on one phone is underrated for families. when the phone goes round, is everyone's hand visible, or do you hide tiles between turns?
