BREAKING: Karoline Leavitt melts down whining that the White House is being "harassed" after a reporter confronts her about Trump's absurd lie that Iran destroyed its own school with an American Tomahawk missile.

This is beyond pathetic...

"On the Iranian school, why did President Trump say yesterday that Iran may have Tomahawk missiles when there are only three other U.S. allies, plus the U.S., that have those missiles and therefore could—" a reporter asked.

Only the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Netherlands currently use the Tomahawk missile.

"Look, again, the president said yesterday he will accept the conclusion of this investigation by the Department of War," said Leavitt. "I know there's been a lot of speculation in the media about who may be responsible for this. We're not going to get ahead of the Department of War in the conclusion of that investigation."

"The president has a right to share his opinions with the American public, but he has said he'll accept the conclusion of that investigation," she continued. "And, frankly, we're not going to be harassed by the New York Times, who's been putting out a lot of articles on this, making claims that have just not been verified by the Department of War, to quickly wrap up this investigation because the New York Times is calling on us to do so."

The suggestion that it's harassment for our news media to hold this administration accountable when the president is spreading blatant lies about the illegal war he started is ludicrous. The American people deserve the truth.

Yesterday, Trump was asked about his bombing of a school in Minab, Iran that killed at least 165 people. Footage of the attack shows that it was a Tomahawk missile but rather than own up to the atrocity, he suggested that Iran itself was responsible. Iran does not possess Tomahawk missiles.

We all know the truth now. Leavitt and Trump can squirm, but in the end they'll be forced to face the consequences of their actions.

Please ❤️ and share to demand that the Trump administration be prosecuted for war crimes!

My 17 year old daughter is at an World dance comp in Florida. Before she left Oz she swapped out her usual phone for one with no SM apps. She made it thru the Border, but a member of another team was not so lucky. 14 hours detention, NO PHONE, & deported back to Oz. A DANCER???

The truth is the Howard Govt spied on the Timorese sea boundary negotiating team. Everyone knows! So why is @dfat trying to censor even the fact of an ‘allegation of spying’ from the offical history? It’s shame atop shame. #DirtySecrets #FOI #auspol https://t.co/v0ObPOGevV

Peter Dutton is demanding that Anthony Albanese's QANTAS flight upgrades be referred to the NACC. While we're at it, how about also referring Dutton's free flights on Gina's private jet?

We are outraged by @IDF threats against six Palestinian journalists, labelling them as terrorists for reporting on Israel’s war crimes. We condemn the ongoing threats, impunity over their killings, and severe restrictions on FoE in #Gaza since Oct 2023. Read our #PENCongress resolution: https://t.co/T1NBdDmoO5

I didn’t post much yesterday as it was one of my favourite days of the year to spend with my Father. Kind of ironic how Bill Shorten announced his retirement from politics.

Having a disabled parent is not easy, but the NDIS has played a large role in our lives which we all have benefited from. And there would be no NDIS without Bill Shorten.

Bill Shorten fought for us who all received a Robodebt. He never gave up on us!

I don’t have a bad word to say about Bill Shorten. One of the the good ones. He will leave a hole in the Labor party, and I will personally miss his Zingers.

All the best @billshortenmp and thank you for everything ❤️

@PatsKarvelas I prefer Independent media stories and podcasts, not openly biased Murdoch / LNP supporters using their journo hats to bombard "Peter Dutton says" as though he is 100% right every time.
The bloke is divisive, spews racist and misogynistic narrative combined with straight out lies
