@typewriteralley Feels like a Comms problem. Like how do we convey this stuff so that different groups/modes see the cross-cutting benefits instead of just focusing on their silo.

Exciting funding alert!
@USDOT just awarded $4 million for the Sanderson Gulch Resiliency Project — enhancing safety, accessibility, and connectivity for Ruby Hill residents.
I look forward to seeing the positive outcomes this will have for Denverites.
One year after Paris had built 52km of “corona tracks”, 60% of users were new cyclists, and the proportion of women increased 14%.
With 62% public support, €250m will be invested by 2026 to make those popup lanes permanent, add 130km more, and build 130,000 bike parking spaces.
30 minutes of walking a day - the closest thing to a miracle pill for your health, AND for reducing government public health budgets too. Infograph via @WalkBoston
Let’s deliberately design daily walking back into our cities & communities.

had a great time/ride last night with friends at @DenverDOTI@CityofDenver celebrating the Broadway protected bike lane. This is a world class facility, and Denver should be proud. Not just a great design, with bike signals, maybe more importantly - it's in the heart of our city!
Climate resiliency and Vision Zero often go hand in hand. At our new ResilienCity Park, we installed 11 rain garden curb extensions like this one, reducing the time pedestrians are in the street. The 19 total rain gardens in the park also retain 185,000+ gallons of rainwater to alleviate flooding during storms.
We have constructed rain garden curb extensions all across the city, with plans for more in public places such as adjacent to our soon to be expanded Southwest Resiliency Park - all able to withhold thousands of gallons of rain & make our streets safer.

@united Hey United. My family and I responded to a request for seats because you'd oversold my flight on August 6. I was told I'd get vouchers. I was given one and to call for other 3 (never again). It's been over a month. What gives?
