As a woman who socially transitioned working retail in the public eye I can promise you that no, they can NEVER tell if you are trans, thats especially true IRL.
I dive into that and how weird men can be and how I dealt with misogyny in my journey in my newest yap!
es ist so geil, dass jeder Mediamarkt eine Klimaanlage hat, aber so gut wie kein öffentliches Gebäude, 10 Jahre alte PS4-Spiele sind einfach besser vor Hitze geschützt als Schulkinder
My art career started growing when I stopped treating my skills like a portfolio and started treating them like AUTHORITY.
I’m waffobean, a professional Live2D rigger and artist.
When I talk about VTuber models, rigging, design, pricing, or creator growth, I’m speaking from years of doing the work.
That matters because people do not only commission the artist with the prettiest examples.
They commission the person they remember, trust, and believe can solve their problem.
So instead of only posting finished art, I started answering the questions VTubers were already asking:
• how much should a VTuber model cost?
• what makes a model look professional?
• what should you prepare before commissioning a rigger?
• why does some Live2D movement look stiff?
• what makes a VTuber design harder to rig?
• why do so many new VTubers fail?
That kind of content builds trust while proving your skill.
For X and Reddit, my system is simple:
• save interesting screenshots, GIFs, WIPs, rigging clips, model details, and before-and-afters
• post one visual with a specific explanation people actually care about
• answer the question behind the image
• turn your best ideas into threads
• repost evergreen posts every 2–3 months with a new hook
• reuse the same visuals on relevant Reddit communities
Most people will not see your post the first time.
Reposting a strong idea is not lazy. It lets your best work keep working!!
For YouTube Shorts and TikTok, I focus on fast repeatable formats:
• quick rigging tips
• model breakdowns
• common VTuber mistakes
• things I wish clients knew
• before-and-after clips
• pricing explanations
• tutorials
YouTube has been more consistent for me!
TikTok is more chaotic. One post can get millions of views, then the next gets 20.
It can still be useful, but I would not build my entire career around it.
The best career move for me has been building authority around what I professionally do:
Live2D rigging, VTuber art, and creator education.
It took me 3 years of creating content every single day to get here ❤️🩹
• Start with 1–2 platforms
• Build a library of content
• Save proof of your work
That is how “I make art” turns into “I trust this person enough to commission them.”
Yesterday, I was surprised with the most beautiful gift from my dear friends within the ferret community.
Without my knowing, The Rainbow Bridge Project came together to commission an absolutely breathtaking, handmade acrylic portrait of Henry by my favorite ferret artist, Stephanie Jamison. It is more beautiful and meaningful than I could ever put into words.
The portrait was based on a photograph taken in the garden of one of my good friends. It was the only time Henry was ever able to explore and feel grass beneath his paws during the years he was with me. Because of his condition, Henry could never be vaccinated, so opportunities like that were not ordinarily safe for him; but I trusted that her home and garden were, and he was so incredibly excited to explore. Watching him totter through the grass will forever remain one of my most cherished memories of him.
Stephanie also added a delicate forget-me-not flower to the painting, which could not feel more perfect.
Henry could never be forgotten, but now I have another beautiful way to keep his memory close. I am so deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this gift possible. It means more to me than I can ever adequately express to them.
