Jesus Christ is the center.

He is the measure by which every idea, movement, government, teacher, and use of power must be judged. He is not a symbol to be recruited for a political project. He is the King before whom every political project must bow.

He is the one who possessed all power and refused domination. The one who could have called down angels but chose the cross. The one who showed that divine authority is not self-protective, coercive, or hungry for control, but sacrificial, truthful, and willing to lay itself down for others.

Jesus is the clearest revelation of who God is and how God uses power.

He is also the reason conscience matters. Because faith belongs to Him, no state, church hierarchy, political leader, or movement has the right to force a soul into covenant. Government must remain within its proper jurisdiction because Caesar is not Christ, and no human ruler may sit on the throne that belongs to God alone.

Jesus is the standard I want at the center of my politics, my judgment, and my life. I know I will still fall short. I know I will still sin, misunderstand, and fail. But I also know that keeping Him at the center will bring me closer to truth than allowing ideology, fear, party, nation, ambition, or human authority to take His place.

Jesus Christ is not merely part of an argument.

He is the reason for it.

Many people use His name. It’s more important to live in accordance with His character.
