Jack Creek Meadow, a place where beavers and many other animals eat, breathe and call home. This beautiful open meadow and beaver pond complex is located at 9,600 feet above seal level. It is located on a small tributary of the Illinois River in North Park, Colorado. #timelapse

Phantom Canyon is 30 miles northwest of Fort Collins and consists of 1,700 acres. This camera overlooks the North Fork of Cache La Poudre River. Here, The Nature Conservancy is working to protect natural ecological zones in the canyon and restore prairie using fire and grazing.

Fog kind of looks like a cloud but closer to the ground. It consists of tiny water droplets and typically forms near different waterways, such as our wetlands as shown in this picture.

It's not often that we see waterfalls in this relatively flat state, but they are out there! This branch of the North Loup River is on a ranch in Cherry County, Nebraska. The creek is entirely fed by groundwater from the Ogallala Aquifer, and bison graze on the grass. #timelapse

This enchanting video, taken by Mike Forsberg, features the unique American dipper, the only aquatic songbird in North America. Not only does this bird sing beautiful songs, but it also forages in rapids and waterfalls to find food as you can see in the video. #plattebasin
