Nobody dreams of being Player 2.
When you step into the batter's box or onto the field, you have to decide who you are.
That is the energy we train for.
The one who is ready for the moment when the camera zooms in.
Don't just play the game.
Be Player 1.
@Lilli_Martineau@RealCJ10@ShaneWinkler@jennacone Great work!
I'm very curious - Why is the machine setup at an angle? I've never seen it like that before.
What does that work on and where do you set the location? back knee?
Always learning something new!
Growing up, we didn’t have high-speed cameras or smart devices.
We had mirrors on the wall.
That was my “real-time feedback.”
If my swing felt off, I could see it right then and there.
And here’s the part most athletes never learn:
How a rep feels is almost never what actually happened.
Especially when you’re learning something new.
A few years later, we upgraded to a CCTV recorder —
The same grainy, flickering units you’d see at a gas station.
The quality was awful.
If you paused it, the frame would jitter.
Stepping through the video felt like flipping through crumpled photos.
But for me?
It was magic.
For the first time, I could record a rep… rewind… and actually watch what I did.
Fast forward to today:
Every athlete carries a 4K, high-frame-rate, 40× zoom super-camera in their pocket —
better than what pros used 20 years ago.
And yet…
Almost nobody uses it to get better.
Parents film their kids hitting, shooting, serving…
and those videos — full of insight, full of potential —
vanish into digital clutter.
A goldmine of feedback, untouched.
That’s exactly why I built Player 1 Training.
So athletes don’t have to guess.
So parents don’t have to wonder.
So every rep becomes a moment of improvement — not just another forgotten video.
The tools have never been better.
It’s time to use them.
This is why I'm building @player1training
