@abbysyarns We listened to Serial and I'll admit, it was 100% addicting. I remember my reaction to Blair Witch which was firmly annoyed "meh" b/c my brain slotted it as entertainment. And neither of those genres are fun for me. I don't want my dopamine to come from the pain of others.

@KCKlatt @KevinH_PhD As a society we refuse to have a science based conversation about fat and how to have less of it. It entails pointing fingers at a whole host of external factors when it's just so much easier (and cheaper) to blame the individual for everything that is beyond their control.

@csswizardry I'm firmly of a mind that b/c platforms & JS are complex & abstractions that they fundamentally affect thinking for HTML/CSS which are not abstract and by comparison to JS relatively simple. I reduced 12 lines of CSS down to 3 last night b/c I re-evaluated what a JS had written.
