One of our handlers has today paid his respects to the victims of the Lockerbie air disaster...
“Thirty one years ago along with my two Mountain Rescue Search Dogs we attended The Lockerbie Air Disaster.

The weather this weekend while training in the Lake District has been awful.
Despite hiding on mountainsides in the cold & rain all weekend, our wonderful volunteer bodies have been smiling and happy to play toy everytime a dog found them.
Thank you from all of the handlers.
Very wet training in the Lake District this weekend.
The dogs have loved it and have done well so far.
Here are Geoffrey, Bracken, Copper and Lottie waiting their turn to search the mountainside for our amazing volunteer bodies.
Congratulations to Mark Harrison & Search Dog Abbie of @OldhamMRT who successfully passed assessments to become a full search dog team in the Brecon Beacons at the weekend.
This upgrade assessment is a big step up from novice grading proving they are an efficient search team.
