We are thrilled to announce the Nobel Symposium in Literature, the fifth symposium in the #NobelInAfrica series. Under the theme, “Retrieving Pasts, Imagining Futures: Creative Forms in African Writing”, the symposium will run from 03 – 07 November 2025 in Stellenbosch.

WWF is saddened by the news of Eusebius McKaiser’s passing. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues. He was a fearless journalist and commentator, and also an ally to civil society who supported WWF over the years. He will be sorely missed.
