Officer didn't order her to move she asked her to move. She shouldn't have moved when asked if she believed she was in the right. Every time she voluntarily moved back a step to accommodate the officers request she did it freely of her own will. If anything, the Officer used the reporters "Back the Blue" beliefs to get her to willingly comply with her request to make the governments job easier.

You don't have to hate the police to realize they are government and should not be trusted or supported blindly. Instead of blindly accommodating them the reporter should have stated, "I believe I am within my constitutional rights to stand here as a reporter. I have not said or done anything unlawful and mere presence in a public place is not illegal. So, unless you threaten me with arrest I'm not moving."
