The answer is you continue to work in banking. There is a similar calcification in my professional experience in media (TV, newspaper, radio) you need to navigate the organization politics to survive and thrive, but it will doom you to rotating between a handful of companies until you retire which depending on your goals may not be a bad thing.
Number one rule of business is roll as many things into the presented and final cost as possible. People hate surprises no matter the source or justification because once they have mentally allocated the budget for your product or service while starting the checkout process any additional fees along the way just add friction.
@CiprianiRanieri Less due to lower labor, more for speed. In most cases AI is shaving 25-50% of cost from a traditional shoot, even more if it is one where you need location permitting and crew.
@brileaux Because people select the highest thing they can brag about. If you're making substantially more than $100k instead of saying six figures you might say you're making a quarter or a half million a year. Always slide the income flex to the largest sounding ambiguous number! π
@MidnightSaltine@xav_moss True, with comparing across a couple recipes, I could see it working on a flat back but not the sides, and it isn't super intuitive anyways.
@Gavingunholder@FirestormCabbit@SeloSlav This is exactly what I am talking about that. A knee jerk reaction of "you said something similar to a different group of people therefore you believe the worst of what they said." I never said that, find it in my posts
@FirestormCabbit@SeloSlav How do you get the conclusion that I am anti AI from this? I use it on a daily basis. There is still room for criticism of it.
@ChShersh Something that actually worked for me recently was watching long form content at 1.5X to 2X speed. I wouldn't do this for a movie or TV show but I did find the increase in pace helps me to focus on longer things like YouTube tutorials.
Yeah it has theoretically unlimited functionality but if you put the average CPA who isn't an AI superuser in front of something other than QuickBooks they will tell you to put it in that format and share access or get bent. Or they will charge you a ton to manually import and categorize it themselves.
I do a lot of text related work in Gemini Chat, a few simple automations in Spark, and heavy lifting coding and agentic stuff in Antigravity. Descript I rough cut long form video and then use Opus to extract short form clips and schedule them. Then I go back to Descript and polish for a long form video, mostly to upload just as a YouTube embed on my website.
@BuescherScott@realEstateTrent I think it is more likely they will entrench themselves like lawyers are doing now. But QuickBooks will probably roll out plenty of AI features to speed things up. At the end of the day you are paying them for accountability though if they mess things up.
Assuming you are sending maybe 10-12 cold emails on top of normal activity, probably fine.
50+ a day all cold outbound and not using that email for any normal ongoing correspondence?
Probably spam flag.
Would help you to do research on sales enablement and email warmup and inbox/domain rotation.
@danellisona Honestly for the most part it was just making the whole feed more conversative leaning and peeling off a lot of the liberal and left leaning content to @bluesky
