Thanks to an eagle-eyed member of the public who reported something that didn’t look quite right, officers carried out checks and located several stolen bicycles concealed nearby. These are now being returned to their rightful owners. Enquiries remain ongoing.

The closure is causing traffic disruption and motorists are advised to seek alternative routes while the vehicle is recovered.
