@Rubychirp1 @GenevaChristie @billysunday1 if delta is the dominant strain, then sick *unvaccinated* people are just as likely to have it, and would be as infectious as (if not more than) than the sick vaccinated people. so it isn't about vaccine status, but rather the variant.

tldr: *anyone* sick needs to isolate.

breakthrough cases are likely to be delta because the vaccine is most effective against alpha and beta. delta produces more virus.

a sick vaccinated person is likely to have a contagious strain. however ---

vaccines can't stop a virus from entering your body...
