@SmallerFishGAA It doesn’t make a difference. As long as the free was hit before the hooter then the game is over when ball next goes dead. Kerry can take as long as they want to score
@cartyban Geelong season doesn’t start until March . National league starts in a few weeks. I’d say if Geelong were only weeks away from their season starting it would be a different story
@BoscaOighir@ballsdotie Fossa won a junior all Ireland a few years ago, have 2 of the best footballers in Ireland (one of them potentially the GOAT) and yet are only playing tier 2 championship. The grading system doesn’t seem right.
@BoscaOighir@ballsdotie The Kerry team in the junior final play division 1 in the league. They play in higher league than dingle who are in senior final. Whilst league and championship are separate competitions, hard to believe a division 1 team are playing at the lowest championship grade.
@irishcorkman78@SmallerFishGAA You mention that he wasn’t going to be looked after by the GAA and then go on to say that Kerry County board, who are part of the GAA, looked after him. 😂
@cormacpro “Instead of going for goal”
They went for goal, keeper made a good save and with time against them they tried to work an equaliser as opposed going for another goal.
If a team was a point down you’d expect them to go for a point rather than a goal to win it. Same applies here.
