"Ontario will stop reporting COVID-19 cases in schools and child care settings, memos from the Ministry of Education say"

The Ford government is cancelling required reporting of COVID cases in schools & daycare.
And they snuck this thru in a memo issued on NYE.

With case counts at almost 17k, I question if this is in fact the best course of action. Why is the province no longer counting the cases amongst schools. This seems like an irresponsible and politically driven decision to support this return to school agenda. @tcdsb
When influenza B broke out in my daughter's kindergarten class, we didn't know until nearly everyone had had it, until she got sick, until some were out for weeks and hospitalized. Later that week my toddler died.
We need to inform parents.
