Not all EVs have four wheels.
E-bikes, e-unicycles — same clean-energy idea, smaller package. The EV movement is bigger than just cars, and that's a good thing.

At $1.81 per litre, a driver of a gas SUV saves just $67 over the five-month tax holiday, while a driver of the Chevy Equinox EV would instead save about $940 over the same period—and about $146 per month thereafter, writes @RachelSDoran and Sicellia Tsui.

An EV in Saskatchewan currently pays 40% more road tax than an equivalent gas car. Our provincial government is now indexing the EV Road Tax to national inflation. #skpoli@SaskParty@saskndp
This morning the Government of Saskatchewan announced yet another cost increase to EV owners in Saskatchewan. Starting January 1st 2027, electric vehicle drivers, who are subject to the Road Use Charge, will see hikes indexed annually to the national rate of inflation.
Personally, as an EV owner of 8 years, I have no problem paying my fair share. But there is no reason that an EV owner should be paying more road tax than an equivalent gasoline car. Especially since most gas cars and EV's are now very similar in weight.
Next week! @WheatonKia introduces the all new KIA EV4! Take a test drive and learn about why an EV should be your next vehicle. Educational presentations all night long. Check out the details below
