The Parliamentary Society Assembly on 2nd June, 2026, at the House of Commons was not only a celebration of achievement, but a necessary conversation about responsibility, safeguarding, online abuse, violence prevention, mental health, inclusion, diversity, and the role influence must play in creating safer and more supportive industries.

The United Kingdom is undeniably navigating a period of political turbulence and public frustration. Across every side of the national conversation, people are voicing deep concerns surrounding the cost of living, social division, public trust, and the growing sense that many voices are no longer being fully heard. Regardless of political affiliation, these moments remind us how profoundly interconnected leadership, policy, and everyday life truly are.
At the same time, witnessing His Majesty King Charles III deliver the King’s Speech at Parliament this week served as a powerful reminder of the enduring importance of democratic institutions, respectful dialogue, and national continuity during uncertain times.
It was meaningful to stand alongside members of the Commonwealth First Culture Council (CFCC), reflecting on the importance of understanding survivors and supporting conversations that strengthen communities through compassion, culture, and unity.
Thank you also to The Telegraph for the thoughtful gesture and continued engagement during such an important week in British public life.

Beautifully organised by CEO - James Rutherford the evening began with a wonderful private drinks reception in the Caversham Room before an outstanding programme featuring Arriaga’s vibrant Overture in D Major, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s timeless Piano Concerto No. 21 in C, K467 and exquisite concert arias, concluding with the brilliance and expressive energy of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4.

Let me tell you what actually happens when you sign a marketing agency.
