Missed this week, because of family errands, but now I'm back to #buildinpublic 💪

I have two AI-ideas in mind, so couldn't resist my nature to build a small microservice which will take care of talking to OpenAI, throttling, auth and etc, to make it more resilient

Concluding my experiment

- ChatGPT can't build extension entirely, but it offers a great help
- Eventually it will start messing answers which confuses even more so be attentive.
- Dev exp. helps to ask right prompt and speed up process

Everyone’s laughing at all the ChatGPT threads, but I (a man who can’t code), just built and shipped a functioning and IMO useful Chrome Extension in ~45 minutes using just that and @Replit - it was the weirdest feeling ever.

Then things went crazy!

What I've got is that some async magic didn't work as expected. Async/await is not my strong side so I couldn't fix it myself.

ChatGPT start messing its answers, invent not existing code and become useless...

Finally simple boilerplate API app is running on VPS 🥳 Now I can clone it to build real apps without wasting time on setup and deploy. Almost forgot how fun is this.

And don’t forget about security even in the beginning of the journey!

@adidawi Writing anywhere online you can't clearly express your emotions and sometimes you might be misunderstood. Emojis can fill this gap, so I think at times it's even critical to use them 🙂
